URJ Camp Newman is part of the Union for Reform Judaism family of camps
and youth programs. In 2017, Newman was caught in the path of the Tubbs fire in Northern California and destroyed beyond recognition. The camp had to relocate for several summers, away from where it had been for almost 20 years. Depicted is the entirety of summer 2021 at Camp Newman, the first summer back at its original home. Included in this selection are a few moments from summer 2023, my second time holding this position for Newman.
